As a former bodybuilder, I used to always enjoy creating tasty recipes that helped me get in enough protein. My recipes have changed and adapted with my carnivore lifestyle but some recipes are just too good not to share! This recipe is so easy, you couldn’t mess it up!

This recipe has 3-4 ingredients that almost every kitchen should have. Making chocolate protein bonbons is something you won’t regret! You can do this by hand with a spatula in a matter of minutes. Once they’re rolled into bite size pieces and chilled, you’re going to thank me! 😉
Let’s hop to it!
Ingredients:
1 cup Equip Foods Chocolate Prime Protein (save 15% off with code RICHELLE) or use any Equip flavour you love!
8 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
1/8 tsp salt (Baja Gold is my fav - 10% off here)
Optional mix ins - cacao nibs or crushed pork rinds or well chopped 100% darl chocolate or as they are (delish!!)
**NOTE: if you only have salted butter on hand, use 8 tablespoons of salted butter and omit adding the salt
Instructions:
Add all of your ingredients into a bowl.
Wit your spatula, slowly begin folding the protein into the softened butter. It will come together like a smooth, dreamy paste. It takes a couple of minutes so be patient.
Once combined, scoop teaspoon (or tablespoon) amount into hand and gentle roll into a ball.
Placed on a lined cookie sheet or in a mini muffin tin lined with muffin papers.
Once all the balls are rolled, chill them for 45-60min in the fridge or 20min in the freezer.
Enjoy one anytime you want a little bite of fat and protein or stir into your coffee for a fatty protein mocha!
Store in an airtight bag or ziplock in the freezer.
Let me know if you try these! 🤩
