Chewy Fudgey Protein Slice

This recipe could have been a disaster but it really turned out so delightful!

With a little heat from a double boiler, this became a smooth, chewy fogeys protein slice. Just a few ingredients and a bit of patience and you’re looking at a delightful little treat packed with energy to keep you on track with your goals. 💪🏼
Ingredients
• 1 cup Equip chocolate mint protein OR plain chocolate (Save 15% with code RICHELLE)
• 3–4 tbsp melted unsalted butter or tallow
• Pinch of salt (I used Baja Gold - save 10% here)
• Optional: ½ tsp peppermint extract (if you want stronger mint)
• Optional: crushed freeze-dried mint leaves (for texture)
Instructions
1. Combine protein + salt.
2. Add melted fat slowly until the dough holds.
Add 1 tbsp of water.
Using a double boiler method, gently stir with a spatula to make it smooth. The fat might separate a bit. Don’t worry, that’s what gives it the pretty marbling!
Once well combined and warm (not hot!), line a container of choice with parchment and pour in th mixture.
Chill in the fridge for 60min before slicing.
