Carnivore Protein Ice Cream

Have you ever looked at how many ingredients are in ice cream these days? From things like high fructose corn syrup to several sugars, artifical flavours and mono and dyglicerides. Why are these things even in there? Well, because they are cheap fillers.

Honestly... Sometimes the most simple recipes are the most delicious and the most enticing. This Carnivore Ice Cream recipe has been one I have used since LONG before becoming carnivore/ketovore. It is so easy and contains 3 ingredients. It is my husbands FAVOURITE!


  • wire whisk

  • measuring cups/spoons

  • mixing bowl

  • ice cream maker


  • 1 litre (4cups) of heavy cream

  • 1/4 tsp ice cream salt or sea salt

  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl. Gently whisk until combined.

  2. Pour into frozen ice cream bowl and let your maker work.

  3. Store unused portions in your freezer in a container up to 6 months.
